** Thursday evening ZOOM 6-9pm
Friday-Saturday 9:30am – 5:30pm
**For license manual therapists within a regulated Health Care Profession only.
This course addresses the theory of working with the internal organs and their fascial envelopes. Referencing our current understanding of fascial anatomy & response to a load with a “user-friendly” approach. Using our own experience of Fascial Release and it’s relationship to the viscera we will explore the tough-hollow-muscular organs such as the stomach/duodenum & urinary bladder + uterus as a primary focus of the workshop as well as the Liver being addressed time permitting. For the manual therapist it is a vital portion of our understanding of functional movement, restrictions and how the visera are directly related to our symptomatic experience.
This course can be applied as a pre-requisite for the Biodynamic Fascial Integration Series (BFI) instructed by Heather Gittens, Program Director.
